Rotary Pride of Workmanship Award

As a valued partner in the “Seek a Skill” and “Behind the Scenes” Partnership, Albright & Wilson are pleased to have been nominated by South West Connect for the Rotary “Pride of Workmanship” Award, acknowledged by 1.2 million Rotarians around the world.

The nomination recognises the achievements of outstanding employees, acknowledging their contribution to their organisation and broader community.

We believe that “Pride of Workmanship” – the sense of responsibility to do a job well is one of the greatest intangible asset in our business and service communities.

Wetherill Park have received this award for the work carried out with South West Connect  in being involved with the local schools ( especially those disadvantaged) to encourage them to focus on their education and giving an introduction into the world of work.  The teachers and children have been particularly complementary about the factory visits and how much we managed to pack into the plant and laboratory tours and how the tour guides and the operators at the work stations showed such enthusiasm to involve and inspire the kids.

Albright & Wilson received their award at a presentation dinner hosted by the Rotary Club of Wetherill Park on Monday, 27th October at the Smithfield RSL Club.
